I Love Where I Live!

Here I sit . . . On a Sunday evening, lining up things in my head. I love where I live and I want to share it! I am fortunate, blessed, and just plain lucky. I live in one of the most beautiful places in America ...  possibly the world; North Carolina,USA. I live in north Durham and my office is in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. So, lucky me! I have the pleasure of being able to cruise between the two towns with ease. Both places are not just beautiful, they both offer an excellent quality of life. I've lived all over the country as well as Europe, and I chose to live right here.

In this forum, I'm going to talk about what it's like to live in the Durham, Chapel Hill area, such as; Things to do (and there's a ton of things to keep any active person continually busy). I'm going to talk about the rich history of North Carolina which dates back to the early 1500's (even before the Mayflower). I'm going to talk about the wonderful, warm and genuine southern people. I'm going to talk about our highly ranked colleges and universities, the booming tech industry at the Research Triangle Park, and the state-of-the arts medical facilities.  All of these industries produce, you guessed it . . . JOBS! I'm going to talk about the real estate market and housing in this area, as well as discuss specific neighborhoods. I'm going to share the joys of living on what is often called, "The Southern Side of Heaven"!
