I became Realtor in 1977 while living in California. I longed for the slower pace of the southern lifestyle and my roots. So, almost five years ago, I came home to my native soil, my beautiful North Carolina.
Relocating has been a part of my life since childhood. As a military "brat" and then wife, I've lived all over the U.S., Europe and Japan. As a result of my own relocating experiences as a child, and as an adult, I understand what really is important in a move. Not only is the physical process of a move important, but relocating to a new and unfamiliar environment can be a very stressful and emotional time. I know those emotions first hand, because I've lived them, as a child, as a mother, as a wife. Whether you're moving across the street, across town, or across the country, please let me use my expertise to help make your move a positive experience.
I'm a survivor! I have six fantastic "children" (all grown now). Raising that many kids helped me develop my ability to laugh at the absurd. I also learned that I could sing ♪♫, dance, and negotiate a contract all at the same time!
I'm passionate about my family, and my furbabies. I am an animal lover. I also love living history, travel, boating, good music ♪♫ , and the works of Nicholas Sparks.
My degree is in Communications with a minor in psychology. I am fluent in American Sign Language.
